Last summer DVLA sent me renewal paperwork for my licence due to a medical condition. I called them as I was unaware of any existing medical condition on my licence. Turned out it was an error on their part. Licence was duly renewed until this year (my 70th, which is an age we all must renew on). The anticipated paperwork arrived this year and encouraged me to renew on line, which I tried to do until a "medical condition" flagged up - yet again. Again I called them, turns out it had not been amended from last time. I sent off the paperwork again, this time with a complaint letter. New licence received after 3 weeks. Not a mention of the complaint or an apology.

Finally. The V5C arrived on Saturday and I dropped it off at the dealers this morning. They assured me the refund would be done today. I am checking my balance regularly
