Also i am looking at some new 215 70 r 16 would those be ok for the drive terrain? Please help out a noob that wants the best for his Landie, much appreciated! On to Offroad |

The 65 tyres will fit but will have a smaller diameter (-5.9%). This will effectively lower your gearing & make your speedometer overread. Not a good modification, your car will be "revving it's nuts off".

Thanks for your reply Bob! I just ordered some 17 inch wheels and 235/65 tyres. I think i should keep landy in good shape. Your advice was appreciated!

17" are ideal anything bigger is mainly bling, looks great but harsher ride, noise and worse in snow.
