Ensure you rule out tyre noise first. How old are they and what depth and make ? Not sure a software change would be issued but TOPIX I am told would record such things. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current |

Fitted a recon diff to my FL2 this weekend due to the dreaded pinion bearing whirr / whine. Also did a Haldex service.

Volvo also do the same filters cheaper than LR, I have posted on this but I would go with Austen as he gives a lot of time to this site and its members. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

It will be either a Gen 3 or Gen 4 so you need to establish that.

Is your car Auto or manual ? Have you got a lead foot ? 5 diffs must be unusual. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Interestingly, I've had a new diff and haldex service too, and DO still have the clink (which is definitely haldex as it disappears if I pull the fuse). |
