Is the stone guard that fits behind the front brake disc a MOT failure if it's missing?, as the one on my daughters mini has fallen off.

Take the other one off, it will fly through a MOT I reckon. But why not just fit another ? FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I will be replacing both but its just doing it before the MOT in a few weeks .
