its a great feeling, my HSE is due in December, only had it 4 months, my previous car passed 4 in a row with NO faults, it was a Honda . . . I passed 7 MOTS no bother with Honda cars. |

Years ago I bought an A60 with what turned out to be a bent MoT from a bent policeman. Since I already had one that I was scrapping because of rust, I swapped the wheels, brakes and much else and ran it for a year. Next year I took it back to the MoT garage. "No I'm sorry - can't do it" (I forget the actual excuse). That's a pity, says I, you did it last year. "Oh well that's OK then, leave it with me". End of the day it had a nice new certificate and a bit of biscuit tin (literally) welded underneath. So I kept it for another year and even managed to SELL it (a first for me - my cars up till then always went for scrap). Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
