Jensen enjoying a drive in my old 110, sadly passed away 18mths ago at the ripe old age of 15, impressive for a lab.

Personally I like cats almost as much as dogs,
Ranja is gorgeous.

I started this thread in January 2014 and am amazed to see that it has grown to 10 pages.
Although not a great lover of cats, we have several in the family and we rub along.

One for our Moderator npinks- Nick? As my IT knowledge is minimal will you change the title of this thread to Member PETS? as it would appear that the majority of subscribers to the FreeL2 forum from all points of the compass are animal lovers and long may it continue. Thumbs Up

Scotland 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Firenze Red

A week to forget . I took my wee WCS out the park a week ago Sunday, every thing was going great .. running with other dogs having a great time , then my world came crashing down , my dog (bailey) ran for a tennis ball (her favourite pass time) , another spaniel was going for the same ball . My dog only knows one speed .. flat out. There was an all mighty yelp as the 2 dogs crashed into each other , the other spaniel came away with a limp but ran it off , bailey came up to me with a bleeding nose. I carried her to the car and cleaned her nose then I noticed the every time she took a breath the skin between her eyes move significantly, then I saw that there was a "dent" on her head.
Cut a long story, took her to the vet .. then onto a animal hospital in glasgow .. CT Scan showed a fractured skull & sinuses. 3 nights in hospital to make sure she's ok, no operation need as her skull isn't touching her brain , but she will have a permanent dent on her head. The vet said the fracture is like Opening a hard boiled egg, lots of little fractures.
Six weeks of being on the lead and three months before running after a ball again, she should recover to 99% . Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

I'm so sorry to read that I suppose the consolation is your dog has lived to run another day poor little dog.

Sorry to include my son in this one, but rather proud of him in this photo that I took, only a month or two after 9 hour brain surgery to stop his epilepsy. Seen here with Star when he owned her.
