Roof Bar Bolts

Is it possible to buy the bolts (2 per side) that are used to attach roof bars. They have the plastic bung in them and on removal 2 if mine snapped off Sad The bolts have the screw hole down the centre for attaching the bars.

If so what is the price for 4? FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

would only come as part of a fitting kit, £60.00

I'd suggest finding a local Thule agent they should be able to supply replacement parts as they are the original manufacturer.

Cheers

Thanks Dan. Not sure if we are talking about the same part - I'm meaning the big chunky bolts that are attached under the trim on the roof. I'd be surprised if these were 3rd party parts. I'll take a photo today if that helps. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

Quick Google would suggest that looks like the right part. Seems to be called a stud rather than a bolt which might be why I wasn't finding anything.

Dan - is this something you have?

The hex bolt is 10mm: M10 x 1.5 mm pitch (metric coarse thread). The inner one is 6mm: M6 x 1.0 mm. Just buy a couple or 10mm galvanised bolts. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Tambora Flame

Hope someone can help me.

Im wanting to remove the roof bars that were fitted when i bought my 07 Freelander.

The problem i have is the ugly sight of the 2 bolts at the front that the kit fitted into.

Is it possible to buy a kit that replaces there 3 front bolts and has some kind of original looking facer or cover for the front trip?

Thanks

If you remove the pillars, seal the bottom bold and buy new strips it should be as original.

Part numbers are in here: http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic28707.html
