Can a USB harness/connection be made to the 6 disc head unit to play music etc the Bluetooth only works for calls and using a separate unit is too much faffing about

I was told not possible by an audio installer up north, my previous car I had a Sony system with a very small sized 32gb USB stick set at random playback, like a giant jukebox of allsorts of music, a 6 CD system even in MP3 format does not quite do it for me either. I have a cheap oriental thing you plug into the power socket which takes the 32gb but everytime you stop the car it goes back to the beginning aaaaaaaaaaarg Confused So given up with that

You can buy a bluetooth receiver about the size of a pen drive with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm adaptor. Plugs into the aux socket between the seats and powers off the 12v socket next to the aux socket. You just have to switch it on every time you want to connect. Cost about £5 off ebay.

Or you could change you car to a MY13 onwards which has the capability to play your B/Tooth music player through the B/Tooth car audio. Cool MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

Thanks for the ideas all but I'm a tight Yorkshire man and "I ate parting wi mi brass "
I got hold of a Bluetooth FM receiver that locks into a radio frequency (9) plugged into front 12v socket so is off when ignition off and connects to my Samsung with 1 button and was only about a tenner, So I am sorted for now, next upgrade will be a receiver that can play a memory card and or USB stick i'm sure they will do one got to be cheap tho
