Absolutely no idea at all Confused , mine doesn't have them, (could only afford the GS), but looking in the manual it shows the lamps being mounted on the bottom of the doors (not in the mirrors) and they use a screw driver to prise them out. ______________________

I must admit I had not noticed that my '08 HSE has these puddle lamps. Should it?! When do they come on? Freelander 2 TD4 HSE auto Tonga Green/Alpaca

Is there not legal rules to follow here Question Like, following a car with its reversing lights on is pretty annoying for following cars Shocked 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

The trick is to use a blunt thin tool.. table knife... and prise against the clip behind the lamps face, as crudely demonstrated here. on the side of the light away from the car

thanks CG

Since i put the puddle lamp bulbs in the number plate i have run out of buld for the time been

@AndyC the bulbs are only illuminating the number plate, with a white light instead of yellow normal bulbs so i can't see a problem with them

I see if i can get a picture tonight Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Yes some night shots will be fun to see Very Happy

Puddle Lights:
Just had a look at my Puddle Lights (on a HSE model), because to be honest I had not noticed they were at the bottom of the front doors as well as the door mirrors Embarassed (many thanks to Dave & Nick for that info) Thumbs Up .

When unlocking and opening the front door the Puddle Lights in the door mirrors stay on for 1 minute, whilst the Puddle Lights in the bottom of the door, footwell lights and interior lighting stay on as long as the car is not started (well think there is a longer time limit to these) Question

If the car is just unlocked but the doors are not opened, the Puddle Lights come on, but the doors relock after 1 minute and at the same time the door mirrors fold inn and all Puddle Lights & interior extinguish. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
