Visited the show on Saturday and had the pleasure of meeting fellow forum member Mikey who programmed my newly fitted xenon signature headlights for me The weather did turn a bit in the afternoon with a little rain and getting a lot colder but it could have been a lot worse and didn`t seem to put many people off. I felt the show in terms of stands etc was very similar to last year. I also felt that it was a bit expensive for what it was. £14 entry and a fiver to park which is about the same as Billing costs (Free parking at Billing) for a show that was about a fifth of the size of Billing. However as a Scottish show I will continue to support it by going along and hopefully it will grow over the years.
Bit of confusion when leaving as the security guard on the gate asked about my number plate and I did not understand what he was on about. Turns out it seems that a Land Rover had been stolen from the car park during the day and they were asking people to recite their reg numbers to help confirm that it was your vehicle that you were leaving in. Sad if true that a show for enthusiasts is targeted like that. On a happier note that just leaves the led rear lights , reversing camera , front and rear spoilers and a few other bits on my to do list

The security was laughable though. Spotted a huge flaw within 10 seconds of arrival

We went down on Sunday, weather was great 👍🏻 plenty of stalls to go digging through, there was a big lacking of clubs in my eyes, there was a definite vibe of hardcore defender off-road only IMO. It's easy to see why if you own a Freelander it's NOT A REAL LAND ROVER. I saw TWO FL1s go round the ring and not one FL2, we had more fun walking round the Carparks looking at the cars there.

ps I also saw Mikey on Sunday, we pulled out of BP garage behind you. Ha ha I thought I'd see you at Edinburgh but looks like you went on Saturday.

All in all was not the kinda show I was expecting to be honest. We were only there just over an hour. Was an expensive Hour really £14 each to get in and £5 to park.
