just tried to replace the bulbs in the side mirrors aswell but they are stuck solid, gave up when a cracked a chunk off one Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

its just the lenses underneath thats cracked so it wouldn't be visible, just not water tight

Looking at their e-bay page the 9 led ones like the ones you have used appear to have a ballast resistor built in if you look at the pictures half way down the page.

mine has the same setup just less bulbs, and say they are for side lights too
