Hello, my name is Karol. I am reading this forum since year but this is my first post. I am from Poland and I own FL2 2.2 160HP Automatic, xenon lights, production 2009. Welcome All FL2 Enthusiats.

It looks like your car has the setting 'Scandinavian mode' enabled in which case the lights are always on when the engine is running. If 'Scandinavian mode' is not enabled you can switch off the lights. It is not a setting you can change I think, you need a dealer or LR specialist with the proper tools to change the setting. |

I think grumsel is right. Probably the previous owner decided to have "daytime running lights" enabled. The handbook for your model mentions "daytime running lights" but unfotunately doesn't say how they are enabled or disabled.
