Just back from looking at the new Skoda Kodiaq. Quite impressed, I think it knocks spots off the Discovery Sport AND can be had with 5 or 7 seats (the latter being far better than the DS), with a spare wheel, and with a 180bhp turbo petrol engine.

It's good to see that there are some out there that haven't forgotten VW's bad behaviour over diesel emissions. It's not just the blatant cheating, but it's the fuel that it's given the tabloid press to go on an anti diesel witch hunt - it's going to be a big problem for all of the law abiding manufacturers and their customers (and that's us!).

Looked at a kodiaq today as well. Looks good. Will try and pry a demo out of them at some point in the future. The 190bhp diesel should tick the boxes |

Is that "190bhp" in normal driving, or under official test conditions only?! |

Knowing me I'd remap it anyway so test conditions mean very little |

That's because, despite their cheating, their engines are still some of the best out there for power and economy. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE |
