2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Stornoway Grey

Pick up my first Freelander Friday.

Freelander 2 early 2010 GS

No serious modding planned.

Just changing the stereo for a car play unit, and adding a rear view camera.

In a years time might consider swapping the seats out for leather, but we shall see.

Might treat myself to some pretty wheels, there are some nice ones out there.

Welcome from me yours is the same colour as mine it looks lovely polished up enjoy the car my only advice is keep the wheels they look good and yours are the easier ones to clean

In snow with good tyres remember that smaller size wheel perform better. Bling looks nice but adds nothing to 4wd system and ride comfort. Enjoy. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Feedback on the wheels noted can cross them off my list.

£250 last night for a connects2 adapter so my pioneer stereo works was a tad expensive... I guess I'm getting used to Freelander ownership already

Couldn't sleep last night....

it's quite a few Xmas pressies all at once to myself

3 hours, and then she is mine. So does that mean about 5 hours before my first breakdown.

When you do go the leather route, don't bother trying to get a used set, get them re-trimmed:

Damn, it's also upside down. Oh well if you have a tablet or phone, just lock it to this rotation and turn your phone around, others... well you will just need to turn your screen upside down.

Question.... stop start, had eco button pressed, and engine warmed up, full tank of diesel (ouch) so..... still didn't work, if battery is low how much driving do I need to do to get that charged up, also looks like original battery, so seven years old.....

These motors eat power, lots on here use a conditioner. At 7 years it you may be best changing before next Winter.

Mine gets plenty of log runs but only just hangs on in there. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

So... minor tweaks

Purchased LR Proper rubber mats
Chrome edges for fog lights
Chrome Sills
Chrome faux cover for boot handle
New gear knob as mine is a bit tatty.

If they look good am tempted to get the door handle covers and mirror covers in stornoway grey but not sure about those
