Vredestein Quadrac5 or Michelin Latitude Cross?

The pair of Nokian Weatherproof on the front of my FL2 are down to 1mm from the wear bars after only 6000 miles. So I want something that lasts a bit longer and after looking at reviews on http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Search/Size/2...d/Michelin I think either Vredestien Quadrac 5 or the Michelin Latitude Cross are on the RADAR.
Does anyone have experience of either or both please? Thoughts? Discuss.
Thanks. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

Think about the newer Michelin Crossclimates as an all year tyre. Very Happy with mine.

At the time I had to increase the speed rating to find them in dealers on R17 rims. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I'm a big fan of Vredestein tyres. The Quatrac is a genuine all season tyre rated for winter use.

I've used Quatracs all year round without any problem. I'm currently using Vredestein Wintrac 4 Xtreme tyres which have been on continuously since November 2015 without any noticeable wear.

My local tyre specialist tells me that Vredestein tyres have a relatively hard compound making them ideal for all season use.

UK prices for Vredestein are good last time I looked. driving on the right side

I have done about 14,000 in my set of Weatherproofs with very little wear - mainly fast A road/Motorway. If yours have worn this much in so short a distance I think there must be something not right with the setup.

Nothing wrong with my setup, I'm just a very "enthusiastic" driver. I try to avoid motorways and A roads. The roads I tend to drive are very twisty (same as I enjoy on my motorcycle) and I drive them, well.........fairly quickly.

Have to say that I'm completely impressed with the grip and handing the Nokians give. It's just that I'd like to get more miles out of a tyre. Jeez, I get more miles from the rear "Dual Sport" tyres on my bike. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE
