And this is what it should look like without the radiator and cooling fan assembly.

Hey Bob. I hope we don't get in trouble on this post for being to "salty". Anyway no I did not. I probably would have tried that on my own vehicle but this hauls my wife and kid so I really needed this fixed asap and correct. |

Could be done in about 2 hours taking your time to do it right. |

Great write up. Much appreciated by those who will probably have to do this eventually. Where did you get the radiator and how much? |

Surprisingly radiators are fairly readily available. Local parts houses run $200 to $300 for aftermarket. Online OEM versions run $345 and up. I bought one from ROCKAUTO.com and found the same brand my local parts store was going to get me for $150. |

Ok. So it ended up raining all day long and by the time the radiator got here at 6 o'clock I was really hustling to finish up the job, in the dark, in the rain. There are no more pictures except for these. Just a few final notes. I had to take off the old radiator the rubber bushings at the bottom to transfer to the new radiator:

Other than that, assembly is exactly the reverse of the order it came apart. I had zero difficulties to report finishing up this radiator install and reassembly went much quicker than disassembly. |
