Hi i am having my rear diff replaced/repaired. could you advise me as to the exact work that will be carried out during this procedure please? i mean the main things that should be done when replacing the diff

Except for just replacing the diff, a full Haldex service should be done.

Basically not.
As far as I know, there is an update available for the Haldex Gen.4 system which will "save" the pinion bearing a bit during startup from standstill. I guess someone will give a better answer to this soon
