Wales 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Mauritius Blue
latest from Gerry Mcwhatshisface

Not sure if others have seen this but having spotted this earlier does make me think he is getting a little big for his boots, so to speak.

I'm no fan of some of the third party companies out there but that doesn't mean I have any problem if others what to take their own new car to whomever they want.

As for Gerry and the latest works from LR, I wont mention what I think as I suspect the fact I find the Freelander 2 and Discovery 4 more appealing that their replacements, from a general styling point of view, might hint what my personal thoughts are.

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Zermatt Silver

In some ways you can't blame him, Pimped up horror shows are everywhere , I followed a RRS yesterday, it looked like a Pikey's wedding car Laughing I suppose the thing that will go against him beating the third parties is that JLR won't be able to take Lidl carrier bags stuffed with drugs money as payment. Maybe it was a Pikey's wedding car. Whistle Common sense isn't very common.

United Kingdom

If Gerry McGovern actually had half the design talent that he thinks he has, then the aftermarket people wouldn't stand a chance.

I've spent the last two days in one of McGoverns RRS's and while it's drawn a lot of favourable comments on its looks, it's like a beautiful actress who commands all the attention, despite having very little talent! It might be a nice shape to many, but the design sucks; from the lack of a command driving position, to the stupidly thick B pillars, the small boot, doors that are very difficult to reach to close from the inside and (the worst bit on a big 4x4) a roof so low it's literally a pain in the neck to get in and out of Evil or Very Mad

At best, G McG is a pretty average stylist, but he's no designer.
