United Kingdom 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Firenze Red
New season, are we all ready?

Brought ours down home today, we can now keep it at home had a pair of steel gates made and a large area of garden flaged so no more £400 a year storage fees. cant wait to give it a go, brand new 2017 Elddis Crusader
Aurora bought it November but with one thing and another never got off yet, only towed it with SD4 auto from dealers to storage and then down home 10 mile at most so looking forward to a good run, came to a Freelander from a Disco 3 as we did not feel we needed the size of a Disco now, but I am finding myself looking at Disco 4's then saying we dont need one, then looking again and saying they are nice though, it does not help with the wife saying (you will never be happy with the Freelander so lets go and have a look at some) we will see.

Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Mauritius Blue

Had our first weekend away last month to North Yorks. I always find that first time out something doesn't work. This year it was a leaking water inlet for the aquaroll. Away again next weekend, cant wait to get out there again.

I also moved to a SD Freelander form the a D3, was a good choice. The D3 was a money pit, and I couldn't justify running a D4 when the SD Freelander did what I needed. Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018

All loaded up and ready for the first trip of the year, first time with new caravan, Freelander not towed before either, so see what it goes like after towing with Disco 1, 2.& 3.

Good luck Trev. I was nervous first time when I changed from the D3, but after a few miles I realised my fears were unfounded. Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018

Where back the Freelander towed ok, not as stable as my Disco 3 but ok, they do like a drink of diesel though a little disapointed with mpg.
