DAB Radio Has stopped Working

First noticed this when I was away Caravaning in St.Andrews but put this down to Location Problems. Tried again when I got home and the problem persists. FM works OK but not DAB. I had a service done, by my local mechanic, just before I went and I'm sure he did something with the battery, would this be the cause ?.

First thing to try is remove the "Ring Break" circuit breaker for a couple minutes and replace. It's in the rear junction box, looks like a strip of metal bridging two circuits of a relay location. This will reset the Infotainment system and should enable your DAB module again. MY15

Can you Clarify this for me, when you say "rear junction Box" do you mean fuse box In Luggage compartment can you also describe the "Ring Break" circuit breaker ? I did delve into the rear fuse Box but am reluctant to remove stuff I don't know.

BTW Thanks for your reply.

Yes, rear fuse box, remove metal strip for 5 minutes. This wil reset the MOST network modules, inc DAB ECU.
I have noticed that you have a 2011 GS so if this is not present in your vehicle you can disconnect battery and leave for 30 minutes to allow all ECU's to de-energise and will reboot when you reconnect battery.
Otherwise dealer can do a system wide "reset" via SDD, 5 minute job! Takes more time to connect up to SDD than do reboot! MY15

I wondered if that was the metal you spoke off but I was wary of removing it but now that you have confirmed it I will give it a try. BTW my Freelander is a 2012 GS model.

Thanks again
