Yes a little cheaper I would expect. There are posts on here about changing the motor but I'm not sure if re-coding is involved or is it 'plug and play'? Gone:

I would think this solution would actually be more secure than a working flap lock. The flap does seem incredibly flimsy and I'm sure it would not take a determined scrote much time to lever it open and pinch your fuel. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory |

To be honest I was more worried about some lowlife putting something in my tank. Just looking at my fuel cap and it would appear to be a bayonet type and not the screw type as per the link in the original post. Gone:
