Taz, It's not just the crackling noise, it's the gurgling as well ! Anyway, back to the subject in hand. I managed to prise the iphone out of my wife's hand (it took some doing) and loaded it into the Bluetooth on the Freebie2 - It works beautifully- incredibly LOUD. I don't know whether to laugh or cry! At least I know the Bluetooth system on the Freebie2 works OK. All I have to do now is find out why the Moto G haemorrhoid type phone wants to play silly b's.

Muddy - What a imaginative mind you have! Now, I'm a guy who has been known to take risks; in my youth I may have even lived a little dangerously, BUT . . . in my senior years I have learned prudence. That is to say, I have no wish to waste what little time the good Lord has now allocated to me, recovering in hospital - that is if I could get into one! Besides that, you do not know my good lady - and I'm a coward!

OK Guys got it fixed at last. Contacted Moto G chat line and after a lot of gooble-de-gook I had to re-set the phone to factory default. It means I lost all the apps etc I had on there but Hey-ho it works now and I've managed to find suitable replacement apps. It linked up to the F/2 immediately and worked OK first time so I assume either I had banjaxed the settings or there was a gremlin in the phone - whatever!
