You should be able to drive off and the handbrake release itself. |

From a previous query I believe my EPB should turn itself off when I pull away. It doesn't and I have to turn it off myself. I looked in the manual but I find it unclear and wonder if the is some reason that it may be staying on? It could be read that the manual version I have does not turn off automatically? It is a 2013 GS. Could it have been an option? Any advice appreciated. |

I have driven a number of LRs with EPB. They all auto release as you pull away. Best get yours checked.

From the Handbook - it may have been de-activated
AND don't forget this: No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS "Fiat Lux" a philosophy not a car |

Thank you for that, I will give it a try. However I phoned a Land Rover dealer today and they said try throttle first then clutch release and brake will auto release. I tried and it works. I think they said it was 2 pedal operation which would tally with your answer as well. |
