Bulldog caravan leveller

Bit of a shot in the dark really, was wondering how many of you caravaners use or have used a bulldog caravan leveller and if you know if it's possible to get parts for them?
I bought one cheap on eBay and when it arrived the long threaded bolt was missing. Rather than the cost of returning it for a refund, I'm trying to find the bolt I can buy separately but not having any luck. Anyone got any ideas?

When it comes to caravans CG is always the same.
Have you been in touch with the seller? they may have the bolt sitting somewhere.
I can send you a picture and the size's of the bolt. Common sense isn't very common.

But first you need one of these to let George in to level the grund.

I have a Bulldog leveler and have to say I'm not that impressed with it. So my suggestion would be return it for a refund.

I find that it's sometimes difficult to get it in place if the ground is uneven. Also it's hard work raising the van with it, a lot of winding, even with a ratchet spanner. At the end of the day it doesn't raise the van as much as you might think because it compresses the tyre.

I'm tempted to ditch it and switch to a ramp.

There is a product which I think is called Lock and Level which is an airbag. Those who use them say they are very good. As a Land Rover driver I just get out my shovel and adjust the ground level. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

I've done Hotels, Villas, Statics and tents, going to give touring a try

The weight of the bulldog was such the seller didn't offer postage, only collection so I got a courier to collect and deliver. I'm on the thinking the seller will tell me if I want to return it, the postage will be up to me so all in all I lose out

The seller assured me the threaded bar was in the parcel. The parcel company couldn't find it so how can I prove differently?

Think i'll bung it back on ebay and try and get my money back

Just out of curiosity, what do you guys use for levelling?

If you paid for the carriage surely you can claim for it having not all arrived? Also, eBay offer guarantee you get what you pay for. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!
