United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Narvik Black
12V Switched Live in boot

Hi there - Land Rover newbie.

I have just purchased a 2007 FL2 HSE. Nice car but neither mine nor my wifes phone can connect to the bluetooth. We both have Android 5.1.1 phones which wont synchronise. My sons Iphone 6's both work fine. I am looking at installing a parrot which is a bit tricky with the premium audio set up. I have a parrot and the appropriate cable so I need to find a switched 12v in the boot area where the alpine amp sits.
Any pointers?

Many thanks

OK - so I'm assuming I should use the fuse box in the boot?

Any recommendations for which fuse location?

Don't give up on pairing your androids. Info is on Topix. I downloaded instructions for my Sony Ericsson a few years ago and my iphone last year. Do a search on the forum.

Make sure you have the latest software loaded to your BT module in the car. My 08 HSE works fine with modern phones.

Hi,

I think thats one of my issues. My BT module is probably a 2006. The dealer tells me the s/w cant be updated and I wrote to LandRover and they said the same. All iphones work with it and my wifes old HTC One running Android 4 - just not the latest Android 5 phones.
I've bought a different BT module off ebay so will see if that works, if not I have also bought an SOT cable to fit parrot as a last resort

I have iPhone 5 since late 2014. Paired ok with my 2008 and now with my 2010. Make sure any old phones are deleted. If still a problem do search on here.
