Seat Cover Options (2008 Fl2)

Hi all,

Looking for the best waterproof seat cover options for my FL2 (2008). It has cloth seats, I am tempted with the original tailored covers, does anyone have nay experience with these or suggestions at other ones available? Preferably a tailored fitt.

Thanks.

+1 for INKA covers, tailored to fit

INKA are the OEM suppliers for the LR branded ones but half the cost as they have an INKA lable not Land Rover

Hi, are the Inca covers waterproof, washable and nonslip?
I'm in need of good front seat covers and not keen on the price of "genuine" Land Rover covers.

the INKA ones are identical to LR as they make them for several manufacturers so yes they are waterproof and washable

Thanks Rog, I've just had a quick search and the Inca site is selling at £60 while their eBay site selling at £39.95!!
so I assume there is a different quality!
where did you buy yours from Rog?

few years back on my first FL2 but it was off eBay. cant remember the cost for the front seat ones but £40 sounds about right
I don think the eBay ones are different quality to the direct ones...... is the seller INKA or a third party ? Maybe give INKA a ring or email.

Also be aware that some will come with armrest covers and some without IIRC.

They are specific to the FL2 due to the seat airbag location, armrest, and headrest shape

I've just had another look Rog,
both sites include the arm covers and have the same phone number, so I'll get in touch with them and see what they say,

Dave

Well INCA have answered and there's no difference in quality, the current price is through Ebay Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy DAVE.

I need some that are washable and non slip, part of SE4X4 Response's duties is logistic support for Kent search and rescue and picking a search unit up on a wet night leaves a lot of cleaning the next day Neutral

the INKA ones are well worth the money, I would definitely go for them for the reason you state......... front seats, rear seats, boot, roof lining............... in fact just line the whole interior (these outdoor types are a mucky bunch!) Laughing

Here is a photo of the driver seat Inka cover, supposedly "tailored". If that is the case I wouldn't want them to tailor me a suit Razz
I personally think the fit isn't good at all, and I spent over 40 mins trying different ways to make it look better.

Does anyone know if the genuine LR ones are better?

(sorry for the poor lighting / picture quality)
