Do these roof bars fit on a Freelander 2?

When I bought my Freelander 2 it had these roof bars in the back:

They are genuine Land Rover roof bars (VUB503330 with I think LR006849 ski carriers) but I wonder if they belong to my car.

I searched the internet and as far as I can see they are meant for a Range Rover Sport. I looked at the part that should connect to the roof and I don't see how these would fit on my car. Does anyone know if they fit on a Freelander 2?

They are now just taking up space in my garage. If they don't fit I will try to sell them (or just throw them away)...

Firstly, these aren't roof rails, they're roof bars.
The FL2 should have rails running down the length of the roof.
FL2 roof bars clamp over these rails.
The bars you show don't have the ability to clamp around rails.
So suggest that these aren't compatible.

Don't throw them away though, if they are RRS you can always sell them on the sister forum or on eBay.
But you can remove and use the ski holder parts on proper FL2 bars. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

Thanks ronp, I changed rails into bars.

I also don't think these roof bars fit, don't see how. The dealer that sold me the car said these bars came with the car when he traded it in, he never checked if these bars fit or not.

My FL2 does not have the rails you mentioned, so also nothing to clamp to. I also don't need those ski holders, don't like skying. So I think I will try to sell them as they are, maybe someone else can use them. I'll check the sister forum.

Edit: I placed them on the roof (didn't do it before because I was afraid of scratching the paint) and they are standing on the metal outside the weatherstrips. There is no way they fit on a FL2. Will try to sell them here in the Netherlands first because I want the buyer to pick them up, so he/she can see and try them first.
