Do you have the original battery from 2009? If you do that will be the start of the problems. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Yes it's the original battery the fl2 has not been used much over the last month due to the holiday period and the rear diff noise (still waiting for LR on that) I have CTEK with plug that would push into an aux socket to try and give the battery a boost. |

live socket in boot in nearside wall that I plug mine into I assume the 2009 has it as well as my 2010. |

Double check some time later that you actually have power. After about 10 minutes on the MY13 the 12 volt sockets are switched off.

My wife's Peugeot has a 10 year old battery in it (it's date stamped). Every winter I expect it to pack up but it just goes on. Is this a record? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

I agree and the words "borrowed time" come to mind but if it packs up at home then that might be one less shopping trip and the savings there can be significant! 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
