I thought it was the peace loving kindly Vikings that got kicked out of Norway by the brutal Danes and they just happened on Iceland - with nowhere else to go they just stayed there. It is said by those that know better (than a lad from Brussels sprout land) that the Icelandic language is more like the original Norwegian language (Viking) which has been changed so much that it is almost the same as the Danish language
