When something like that happens it's always worth parking up and, with the engine off, pump the cluch a good few times letting it come up quickly but not too hard. Many FL2 clutch problems seem to be with the adjustment mechanism and actuation rather than the clutch itself and this trick has worked for me in the past. |

Yep really... manual clutches/flywheels/slave cylinders are not a good point on the FL2 and at 90k hes done better than some. Mine went on 5 year old 07 plate with 95k and a 6 year old 08 plate with 66k. Mostly motorway driving so not me riding the clutch before I get slated @rnlisg.... mine cost me around £800 at an indy for a new clutch, flywheel and slave cynlinder |

We managed to get to 184k KM on ours before having all 3 changed when we were last in UK.

That's what I thought when I saw this thread. Come on, 90k from a clutch on a 4WD ain't bad! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto Present: Audi A3 S Line. |
