United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Lago Grey
Bit of a leaky leaky

224 miles on the clock and what looks like a leak already, is that a record? All its done is sat around for a week or two, nothing more strenuous that that!

Remind me again why my last 4 cars have all been German Rolling Eyes

PS not looked underneath yet to see where its coming from, too damn cold!

Oil all over the Censored show, some Censored hasn't tightened up a pipe or plug or something, I'll run a spanner over everything in the morning So much for PDI 58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky

You could call the Land Rover Assistance people, and get them to come and sort it for you.

Save you the hassle

Thanks Rich, I never thought of that.

LR Assistance have looked at it and its leaking at the sump gasket, its lost about half the oil in the sump in 200 something miles according to the dipstick. Being transported to the dealers first thing in the morning. 58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky

Very impressed with LR Assistance, good response and lots of calles to keep me up to speed with what was happening at every stage. Now have a 58 plate RR Vogue V8 diesel to drive around and play with until I get the FL back so feeling much much happier Smile 58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Baltic Blue

Stormsky, I hope your F/L2 is sorted quickly and to your satisfaction meanwhile enjoy the loan motor. still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit

I thought I was lucky getting a Disco TDV6 SE last time I took the car in, but a RR Vouge is one big step up. (Anythings better than the very dirty peugot 207 I had once, and I mean really dirty, I very nearly got back out the car and gave them the keys back, and after 10 minutes I wish I had)

Enjoy it

Rich

They tried to fob me off with a Vectra and I replied if I wanted a Vectra I would have bought one, that I had bought a £33K LR so I had better get a £33K LR, otherwise the dealer could come and get his car and give me back my money!

The RR Vogue arrived on my drive a few hours later!

Its a lovely bit of kit no doubt about that, but I'm not convinced its worth £30k more than a FL2. Diesel V8 has tons of grunt though...650Nm's! 58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky
