Now install the new gaskets front and rear. I gave them an ultra light coating of oil just because. I don't know why I didn't take pics of the new gaskets in the cleaned up housing but here's the shots of the old dirty ones just for reference. I also put a small amount of oil inside the pump just to lube things back up after that thorough cleaning I gave it.

Reassemble by simply replacing the cover in the right orientation and tightening the 5 new torx screws to (torque spec needed). I simply snugged them up but not too tight as it's an aluminum housing.

Take care to line up the tang on the vacuum pump with the slot inside the engine. If it's lined up correctly it will just pop right in. Now re-install everything else in the reverse order, start her up and check for leaks!
Torque Specs needed for vacuum pump retaining bolts, and the ac bracket bolts.

Excellent write up!!!!

I found the picture of your belt on the other post and mine is not cracked like that yet.

I also see that your Vacuum pump was leaking a lot, mine isn't but I will add both of these items to my list of things to do someday soon.

Thanks again for all of the pictures.

Paul
