It was a joke... Rolling with laughter
In other words, you need to learn other and more efficient methods of crossing a muddy field. Laughing

Ukraine 2013 Freelander 2 2.0T SE Auto Fuji White

After my NSW holiday on muddy roads. Cleaning the car, I stuck the hose up above the wheel arch plastic liners to wash out the dirt. I washed a few kilos of crap out which would over the long term probably help cause rust around the edges of wheel arches. Well worth spending a few minutes extra sticking the hose up past the springs & soaking & blasting out the dirt.

Another area but being only plastic, is peal up the black plastic tread plate on the rear bumper from one end. It easily clips back in. The dust & dirt under it sitting in the bumper injection moulding is worth cleaning out. It will save carrying around a kilo or 2 of excess weight in dirt. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Ukraine 2013 Freelander 2 2.0T SE Auto Fuji White

We were camping in Wilcannia NSW for 2 days to recover, after our Mutawintji to White Cliffs leg, that night camping in Wilcannia in the Council caravan park, $5 each with hot showers & flushing toilets, luxury!

6 4WDs arrived that night at 11pm completely covered in mud. Completely covered! They had come up the Cobb highway from Hay. Highways in outback Australia are often dirt, & will be closed to all traffic if wet so they don't get destroyed & for safety! Heavy fines apply if you drive through when a road has been closed.

The fairer sex were running back & forth to the showers at 5am preparing themselves for the early start!

The convoy left 6 am for their next leg. Unfortunately I did not get a photo, may have been safer not to! but every inch was covered in mud! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
