The accesory belt or anything driven from it such as alternator, water pump etc. |

As in, replace the belt and it should stop whining? Forgive me, I'm no mechanic... |

You could with the engine running spray the area. Don't go overboard though.

Thanks for the help - im taking it back to the garage in the new year as they're shut down until then. I plan on using the warranty if it's needed, especially since I drive such high mileage in the freelander. Hopefully it's nothing major but definitely need it sorting soon! |
