PDC extension cables

Hi,

I would like to relocate my PDC sensors on a spare wheel carrier in the back and a bull/nudge bar in the front, as to still have fully functional PDC. I want to make extension cables for the sensors to allow them to be placed in the new position, without strain on the cable.

I know that electrical interference might be an issue with the signal, not sure if its digital or analog, so I will need to experiment. I do not want to cut the wires at this stage.

My question is, what does one call the male and female connector on the PDC unit and cable? I hope to source the connector from RS here in South Africa.

Any assistance appreciated.

This is the cable that I want to extend:
