Why so surprised that it kept up with the Navara off road? those things have no traction control and ancient cart horse suspension, The only thing he will have in his advantage is maybe more suitable tyres At work

Laughing What a pain that was to clean. The amount of sand on the rims. Geeez!

Sure.. Pippidinny off Marmion Road need Yanchep. 10 mins from Butler. Awesome place as theres no tracks which scratch your car. Once you get on the beach, drive south for 5 minutes and theres a circle of dunes where you can just hammer the car in. Wink

Going again this weekend. But make sure you let your tyres down on the beach. The FL2 is great on sand, but real soft sand, DONT STOP! or go with a buddy. Mr. Green

Cheers for the info, im not sure I will make it there this weekend, maybe on Saturday,

With the tyres, i spent up last weekend at the 4wd show and got a tyre pump, and those maxtrax things to help if I get stuck. I only have the 18" standard wheels on mine, so im hoping they will go ok on the beach.

How good was the 4WD show. I went and the show was funny as.

Anyway i have 19's, prob the worst for 4WDing. But the FL2 goes hard on sand. You will be well impressed.
