Could it be something as simple as a loose belt? You mention you had work done a while back - may just need re-tensioning No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

Hi, I don't think it's the aux belt tension. I know what that sounds like when it all goes starts to go wrong, hence the new alternator, and idler pulley (under extended warranty thankfully).

Hi Captin, yes EGR blanked off over a year ago. Best and cheapest mod I've made. Better performance, uses less fuel and way less smoke from exhaust.

Engine mounting on way out would increase vibrations. Just one more thing to tick off your list. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
