not a FL2 but an Evoque (FL2 in a posh frock )

bought from LR Chesterfield at the beginning of August, report stange sounds under braking in September (nothing found)

was booked into the supplying LR dealer for Friday as the noises had become whines and groans from the rear (feared it was a diff or haldex failure)

Had to call out LR Assist to my workplace yesterday due to some loud bangs and thuds from the rear on the commute. He thinks it may be the NSR CV Joint failed.

Its now with LR Doncaster, probably until after Xmas, to investigate, report and fix.

My question is would a failed CV joint be covered under the approved warranty ? Any of idea of whats involved and costs ?

What is and isn't covered is detailed in your warranty hand book. haven't got mine to had at the moment as it's in the car and SWMBO is out in it.

Considering the amount of repairs that we have had done on extended warranty I would say that it's covered. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Which leaves me with a courtesy 3 month old black Jaguar XE R Sport AWD 2.0D 8 speed auto to play with
