United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Galway Green
[NOW SOLD] Beautiful HSE SD4 - Low mileage

i am selling my beautiful Galway Green HSE with LUX pack and extras. 47,500 miles, FSH.

The car is a 61 plate, registered September 2011 by Landrover (a management car I believe) The second owner bought the car in early 2012 and had it until i bought it in September 2015.

The car was bought from Ongar Bridge 4x4...an extremely reputable specialist dealer who only sell the very best examples.

It is a 190 BHP SD4 HSE model with the optional LUX pack which includes upgraded beaige Windsor leather ( far better than the standard leather), centre cubby box etc.
As well as the usual extras (Sat Nav, DAB, Panoramic Roof, heated front screen, front and rear parking sensors, armrests, etc) the car is also fitted with a factory fitted twin electrics removable tow bar, factory 19" alloys, side steps, brushed silver door handle caps, and a wired in HD dashcam with GPS tracking. The car also has a full size (19") spare. I have both beige Luxury Landrover mats for the summer and deep rubber mats for the winter,

The car drives beautifully and is in fantastic condition. It polishes up beautifully.

Whilst the car was under warranty, i had EVERY niggle looked at and dealt with by Ongar Bridge. They were, to their credit, fantastic.

The car developed an oil leak a few months ago. This was diagnosed as the rear engine oil seal. This was repaired immediately (costs about £1200 - £1500 !!)

If you check the forum, you will find my question about the 'cha cha cha' noise. When i spoke to the dealer, they said it was normal on the SD4 Autos, saying it is noticeable upon certain gear changes when the revs/torque profile are at exactly the right place. they showed me several other cars of the same age and model, some higher and some lower mileage. All did the same thing.
Never-the-less, they said they would do all they could to make me feel comfortable. So, they reviewed all service bulletins and re-calibrated the MAF sensor settings, they re-flashed all modules (Engine, Gearbox and body) to the latest software and they even changed the fuel filter even though the minor service had just been done (thus making it a major service).
I have not noticed the issue at all since they did all of these.

I had a 'REDUCED TRACTION' message on the dash when stationary once. It cleared immediately after a key on / off. I mentioned it to the dealer when it went in for it service shortly after and they were aware of a service bulletin relating to this. Without hesitation, they offered to change the Haldex pump and thus the oil and filter too. Another major service item done Smile

The car was last serviced in September. The car was MOT'd at the same time with no problems. I have new front pads fitted in October.

My wife, children and i LOVE this car. I am genuinely disappointed to have to sell it but Brexit has hurt my business and i have to buy a cheaper car and use the money Sad

Anyone wishing to view will NOT be disappointed in this car.

A quick sale will help me secure a car i am interested in but i am not desperate as i know it will sell well with winter coming.

I also have some Thule Aero Roof Bars that i will throw in if the right price is reached. These cost about £200.

The topic links below show more pictures of the car.

I have now had an offer from a dealer.
Anyone interested at 16k before it gets 2-3k added on by a dealer? FL2 HSE Lux 2011 SD4 Gallway Green.

This beautiful car goes to the dealer as a part ex on Wednesday. Such a shame for no-one to get such an absolute bargain on a fantastic spec'd car.

Dealer is offering 15k. ANYTHING above that will get it if you want it but you will have to be very quick. Its more hassle for me to not part ex it but would love for someone to get a bargain. FL2 HSE Lux 2011 SD4 Gallway Green.

Such a shame that you're having to part with such a nice FL2 and through no fault of your own too Evil or Very Mad

Despite selling anything north of £10,000 privately being notoriously difficult, I hope someone comes along to give you a little more cash and is able to benefit from buying this car direct Thumbs Up

It is indeed a real shame.

Thanks for you comments. I agree, selling privately is not as easy as it used to be, especially with higher priced cars. Shame though, i would have loved this opportunity when i was looking.

Thanks again FL2 HSE Lux 2011 SD4 Gallway Green.

I think 15K is a very good offer from the dealer for a five year old, three owner vehicle, I wouldn't be too disappointed.

Thanks George.

I'm not disappointed in the PX value given Iain. It was fair (I was offered less by some but a couple offered 15k). It is testament to the residuals on these cars.
My only disappointment is that the timing is such that a private buyer can't capitalise on the opportunity and get a bargain.

It's too late now anyway....I was just trying to help if someone was looking.

Cheers FL2 HSE Lux 2011 SD4 Gallway Green.
