The brake fluid change is three yearly and occurs on an A service first time, B Service second time, A service etc. Best that it is priced seperately rather than added as standard to A and B service prices. No doubt the dealers would like it included so the get the money for free two out of three years though. |

I had a reduced engine performance message and called out LR Assist, the guy diagnosed a failed DPF sensor and whilst under the car said that the DPF pipe is perished and about to fail. It went in under warranty to Yeovil LR and they sorted it, however according to the bill, they changed two sensors and didn't charge for the pipe so I wonder if the pipe comes with one of the sensors?

Just had the same (Visual Health Check) report after a 48-month (full) service at Yeovil that the DPF hose is beginning to split - £273 to replace. Also rear brake pads 70% worn - £178 to replace.

There is a bit too much stress on that second pipe looking at that photo. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Ridiculous design the pipe should be nigh on twice the length.

Whereabouts on the car are these dpf pipes, assuming they are in the engine bay? I'd like to check mine to make sure there are OK.

When my LR Assist guy came he jacked up the car at the front and crawled underneath to look at exhaust sensors then came out saying that the DPF pipe was about to split. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
