Not long to go now, we pick our 2017 Elddis Crusader Aurora up next Sunday and cant wait, been without a caravan for 2 months, cant move in bedroom for all the stuff out of it, put every thing in it and going to have to have a week away to give it a go. It will be the first time we have towed with the SD4 HSE auto as we have changed from a TD4 GS manual too, the TD4 towed the Bailey Unicorn spot on so SD4 should be no bother, fingers crossed. |

. That's were we have been since last Monday ,got back home today half 11 ,we stayed at the caravan club site , I now have a few jobs to do on the caravan over winter repairing the hot water heater which went up in smoke on Thursday , don't know what caused it to do that but luckily it happened while we were in the van so I was able to turn everything off just got a smell of burning and put 2 and 2 together so I now need to get that checked out and sort out a water leak on the caravan door window seal . |

Van sold and given up for good, Scotland was too cold and wet and not needed in Cyprus, may look at a yacht again, there's something about being splashed with warm water that is more pleasurable than being hit with hail my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I think that qualifies you to enter the "Woose of the Year" contest, and with a good chance of winning. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own! |

A low of 16deg taking he dog for a walk at 8 am warmed up a bit after an hour now at comfortable 19 in the shade, I can handle that I don't know about woose of the year award, what's the enjoyment of taking a walk in freezing rain in July and worse in November to sit in a tin box with steamed up windows caused by a wet dog lying by the hot air vents steaming away. only bought the van to explore the French Med coast as a possible retirement area. With OH picking up a plum job over here that is now a touch academic. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Do you have the air conditioning running as it dries out the air. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

UK caravans and air con are almost as rare as hens teeth unless they are taken to southern Europe in mid summer, then only the larger examples, available payload after air con is fitted reduces the capacity to a couple of tooth brushes and a bar of soap my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
