I am looking at getting the SDD software and wondering what version people are using and where they got it from?

Have had a look around the forum and seen a few people using various versions and various mods that have been done.

I have come across British Diagnostics who are selling the V130 software and wondering if anyone has had experience with it?

Any recommendations/info much appreciated.

The one I bought came with SDD V143 . I had been led to believe that the latest version of SDD that would work without an active TOPix subscription was V131.03, so I purchased that separately from an eBay seller based in the U.K. I later learned that V134 works fine with our �04 X350 as long as I disconnect the computer from the Internet and reset the computer�s date to August 01, 2012 before I start the SDD program, which I�m running in a Windows XP Pro virtual machine on a Windows 7 laptop. I once let the clock creep up to November 2012 and the software functionality was disabled because �It had been too long since the software was updated.� Resetting the clock to August 2012 restored the functionality.

Plus, I tested working fine with 2004 XJR and 2004 XJ8.

after some time i manage to reinstall sdd 139.17 version,but after 21 days ( this is the firts atempt to check for updates ) it will say that all fuctions will be disabled because software is uotdated,please update (something like this ).
i was looking for something with the possibility to cancel,or to set on manual updating process,or the last update working off line.

Is yours a genuine version or just a mongoose or mongoose clone?

Have you tried resetting the date on your computer back? I use version 131.03 and have to ensure the date is aroung August 2012?

If yours is a clone......Did you try updating it online? If so this may have upset the program?

i'm using mongoose pro ( china so i believe clone one )
i was online ,there was no problem, but after updating was asking for username and password to log in.
this is the reason to come back to 139.17, in order to use the program off line,but after 21 days it will ask again for update.
i believe the only solution is to change the time on my laptop when i use sdd.

These Chinese clones aren't to be updated on line. Yeah that's the only solution that i know of.
