Just Logged on for the first time

I have just logged onto the site for the first time today; an excellant resource. My FL is just under a year old and has just over 1000 miles. I know some of the following topics have appeared in other forums on this site, but I can answer questions on converting UK lights for continetal use (xenons), fitting mudflaps, and detachable towbars with electics.

The car continues to impress (apart from fuel economy), is very comfortable and tows our caravan (Hobby 650 KFU) supperbly. [yes, I know you can't tow this in UK, but the rest of Europe is a bit more liberal with width].

I look forward to browsing the site with interest. Freelander 2.2e HSE , Privacy, Fully debadged, 19" Chrome SHadow alloys

The usual stuff of going to work and visiting the out (in) laws.

The towing has really freed the engine up. After our trip to Croatia in the summer it was noticably livlier but the fuel economy is only at best 30mpg. Hopefully the service will make it a bit better, but any advice gratefully received. Very Happy Freelander 2.2e HSE , Privacy, Fully debadged, 19" Chrome SHadow alloys

Just to let you know how great this site is; I noted how to disable the very over sensitive seat belt chime and tried it out last night. At least I now have one lesss chime in the car. Thank you. Now to work on the Censored key chime!!

Before anyone moans: I have no objection to a seat belt chime and always wear it [and more importantly make others wear it in the car], but I do object to it going off when I reverse (last time I looked in the highway code one could reverse without a seatbelt). Freelander 2.2e HSE , Privacy, Fully debadged, 19" Chrome SHadow alloys
