survey

Hello, TFF!

We are a group of Masters of Business Administration students looking to build a proper business case for the Utility Vehicle (SUV) that would fit your needs as Farmers. We have it on good authority that Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will be reviewing our proposal so we really want to do this well.

In order to build a compelling case (supported by real data and research), WE NEED YOUR HELP to identify new features that will ensure that the new SUV would have a decent-sized market if it were to come out.

We would really appreciate your views as potential customers, the more of your backing we have, the more compelling it will be to JLR.

Survey Link: https://jbs.eu.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_6s3ELfz5JVG6epL

This survey should take no more than 10 mins – however, if you feel that there is more you would like add, please leave your comments below.

This is your chance to be a part of what could become the new Land Rover!

EDIT: Please note this is quite a difficult survey and you may be familiar with some cars more than others, if you find that it is too difficult to continue, please feel free to leave comments about attributes you like about a Utility Vehicle instead (e.g. certain shapes, functions etc.).

Thanks! At work

What concerns me about the cars to choose from in the survey is that none of them are pickup trucks, which is what Farmers are tending to buy these days instead of Defenders. You are hardly going to put a dead sheep in the back of your Porsche Cayenne or Grand Cherokee.

This sounds like the sort of pseudo marketing exercise that created the Ford Edsel back in the 50's (Ford asked their users what would be the ideal car and by the time they had built it the world had moved on and nobody wanted one). 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

I think LR have long moved onto luxury cars. A practical vehicle will not fit the image.

Down under, farmers, tradies & people on holidays whether towing a caravan or not, are pretty much all using dual cabs or Toyota 70 series truck. The bulk of SUVs these days do nothing more than tackle a shopping centre speed bump or sit outside a cafe while babyccino consumption has replaced real milk! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

I gave up on the second screen. I just can't believe that any designer would make use of guff like that. Good job the original defender didn't have to go through a process like that or it would never have been built. Proves my suspicions about MBAs. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
