spare fuse in cabin fuse board

hi, i want to hard wire a speed trap detector into my car, it needs to be site in the windscreen area, is there a spare fuse in the cabin fuse board, or would you tap into the feed for the front cigarette lighter

I'm no expert here but have read posts about fitting an in car camera,they seem to "piggyback" a fuse behind the glove box with cheap adapter,maybe it could do the same for your device ?

hi, i was hoping that would be an used live fuse slot in the cabin, i am going to take a look today using a volt meter

alternatively i thought about connecting it to the cig lighter in the front

Takes power from an existing in-use fuseway. A number of people on here have used them for dashcams etc.

For my in car cam I used the fuze for the ABS so the camera comes on with the ignition. Would suit what you want to do. Got the fuze number from the fuze card. All with a little piggyback fuze so both have fuzes, you have another fuze alongside First and only FL2 from new. Stornaway Grey 77k
