Had a new left knee 18 months ago - advised by some "experts" that I couldn't drive for 12 weeks, because I couldn't operate the brake in the event of an emergency - FFS it's an auto, still same automated response, they have been told 12 weeks so it is in their bible.

Hi Andy, read your above post and wish you a speedy recovery, I had a quad bypass in 2004 and still going strong but your post got me thinking Have I informed my insurance company ? will certainly check up tommorow |

My personal view is if you pass the DVLA requirements I have just read then surely any insurance company should not have an issue as you are "A OK".

That's what I like about this forum, yes we all take the P*** from time to time, but ask a serious question, and there is a depth of knowledge that you will get sensible relevant answer's.
