Newbie with a Freelander 2 HSE

Hi all, just joined the foum as I've put a deposit down on a Freelander 2, which will be my daily runaround to keep the miles off my other car.

It's a 2009 TD4 HSE, very dark grey (is this lago?) and black leather.

It drove really nicely on test drive - my only concerns were that at 100k miles it's on its original clutch I think, and that I could hear some light road noise/constat rumble from the rear. However, it's on winter tyres....could it be this?

Look forward to being involved in the forum!

If I were you I would insist on getting the rear noise sorted before you buy it. I have had all three variants of rear noise ie bearings, rear diff and tyres. They all sounded the same but it's a common problem on FL2s. Look around this forum. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

As mentioned above, check those things.

Tyres is a common one, but good winter tyres will not cause this. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Thanks, will get it checked. It could well've been my paranoia as it was so slight. This forum seems very quiet!
