I've only got a cheap diagnostic tool, it did not find any thoughts ??
I think I'am going to have to take it in to the steelers
Anyone else got a clue what could corse a sucking noise only when the engine has warmed up
From the front LH side of the radiator 2008 xs

The noise is from the front off the radiator??? Don't make sense doest it 2008 xs

sounds like intercooler split

OK it's not a sucking noise, just a blowing noise, it would be quite gentle when stationary, even at higher revs. whip the front off it's the only reliable way Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

But when I put my ear where the inter cooler is
The sounds quieter
Also only makes the noise when engine is warmed up 2008 xs

Andy's right - whip the front off and have a proper look - I'm still inclined to think it a hose on intercooler - they are b Censored s to track down - a minor split or a poor connection would not necessarily be found until the car warmed up sufficiently for it to open and let gas out/in result = sucking/blowing noise Thumbs Up No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

Do you know anyone that vapes ?

Warm the car up and get them to blow some vape fumes in and around the engine bay, should show up what's blowing or sacking 😊 2007 hse auto

Front coming off tomorrow for a good look
Also new timing belt, and auxiliary belt + water pump etc
Hope the belts cure the vibration, I can see auxiliary belt tensioner moving 2008 xs
