She is back at last!

After 4 long weeks, my car is back and looking fantastic!

At the end of the day, I wish this hadn't have happened, but now she is back I could not be happier.

A few tweaks along the way. Metropolis Xenon headlights instead of HSE Luxury Xenon headlights. I am sure the insurance company will be happy as these were £135 each cheaper than the HSE Luxury headlights. God knows why!

Also the grill has been done in gloss black to match the factory gloss black grill surround.

LR only offer one front bumper now for the FL2, and it has primered grill bars!

So here is the final result! Looking just perfect again!

Very easy. Buy a petrol i6 or Si4 rear silencer and adapter and bolt it on. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Echo the above, done it on my one. £180 and that was for silencer, both tips and an exhaust centre to fit it for me Thumbs Up

That radiator grille looks superb (as does the rest of it)!

Please would you do a close up to show where the radiator cross bars meet the bright "smile" in the grille, just to see how and where you masked it all?

Oh! I thought that the parts were ultrasonically welded. Did you need to break and re-glue, or did they just come apart and go back together in a much more civilised manner?

A bit of both. There were three types of Freelander bumper available.

Dynamic :- Gloss black grill bars and gloss black surround.
TD4 :- Grey grill bars and grey surround.
SD4 :- Silver grill bars to match the U shape trim and gloss black surround.

They now offer only one bumper. This has a primered grill surround and dark grey primered grill bars.

They are plastic welded together (ultrasonics have nothing to do with it) which seems pointless as parts have to be painted.

The U shape trim is already finished in the correct silver but it would be impossible to match this to the U shape trim.

So I decided to donmine gloss black to match the surround. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

CCTV is done, flood lights are already there but another one added. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
