Central Locking issue

The Central locking on my 2012 Freelander 2 has stopped working:

FACTS: Fobs have been checked out, okay
No clicks from doors on pressing fob
Doors will lock after a few mins driving and internal switches all work
All fuses okay
All doors and tailgate open and close with key
No messages on screen

WORK CARRIED OUT PRIOR TO PROBLEM
Interior bulbs changed to LED
LED bulbs fitted to footewll

Any suggestions gratefully accepted

Partially discharged battery or earth straps corroded? Worth a check, connect a jump lead from around the starter housing and the other end to the body/chassis.

If the keys have been checked out as you were saying, there is a radio signal receiver in the system. Don't know if they are prone for failure on freelanders tho. Or if when checking the keys this would have to be checked for that matter.

Garage traced the fault to the radio signal receiver contacts being corroded, new one fitted ,keys reprogrammed and all is working again
So much for the "red Herrings " as in first thread
Part No:LR044370 Receiver radio remote control, £49.05 +VAT, traced and fitted £45.00

good that you got the fault fixed and it wasn't too costly.

Was that a Tyre Pressure monitor unit that fits in a tyre ?

Not got them on my FL2 but I assume the reset can be done by you the customer at such times as running on a low pressure and monitor fires off and you re inflate. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current
